Crowns & Bridges
Have you ever broken or lost a tooth? We know that damage to your teeth and smile can create stress, pain, and health concerns. A big part of what we do at Tuttle Family Dental is work hard to restore the health, function, and beauty of our patients’ smiles.
When we recommend treatment, we use technology to show you what we see so you remain involved in your treatment. With intraoral cameras and digital imaging, we can show you damage, cracks, decay, and other conditions and recommend the options to best restore your oral health and comfort.
Dental Crowns in One Day
Dental crowns provide protection for a tooth that has fractures, deep decay, or a root canal. By completely covering the affected tooth, dental crowns protect your teeth while chewing, helping prevent continued damage and possible tooth loss.
Do you remember the old days of having to wait several weeks to receive your permanent dental crown from the lab? We wanted a better solution for our patients, so we now offer dental crowns in one day. With the latest computer-aided design and computer-aided manufacturing (CAD/CAM) technology, we create accurate, comfortable, custom crowns in our Colorado Springs dental office.
We take digital impressions and x-rays so that we can determine the exact size and shape of your dental crown. While computers do some of the work, Dr. Tuttle and Dr. Colt are the expert who will make sure your crown is perfect in both appearance and function. Proper fit is essential to the comfort of all dental restorations.
We also believe in creating beautiful dentistry and take pride in the artistry of our work. Each of your dental crowns will match your natural teeth, so the result is a smile that makes you proud.
Fixed Dental Bridges
One of the most reliable and popular methods to replace missing teeth is with a dental bridge. Dental bridges literally “bridge” the gap in your smile with specialized dental crowns that suspend an artificial tooth between two anchor crowns called abutments. Dental bridges can replace one or more missing teeth and attach to either your natural teeth or dental implants.
Dental implants can support traditional bridges when you have several missing teeth in a row. This allows for greater stability. Implants offer the added benefit of bone retention due to tooth loss. In many cases, implant-supported bridges provide an excellent alternative to a partial removable denture.
